Strategic Planning Consultants

Hi all, As promised here is the list of Strategic Planning Consultants I came up with. Some came from Michlib-L responses, some from general searching, and EveryLibrary provided a list as well. We're getting quotes from several of these groups, but not all. When responses came from Michlib-L I noted whether recommendations were positive or mixed, but didn't include any specifics. And, to be fair, I really didn't get many responses back from Michlib-L. Which is why including responses didn't seem quite necessary. Good luck with your strategic planning projects!! Righting RIDES Wrongs.....zv170 error

HI. Some time last week my new hire sent an audio book back without packing it. She is beside herself realizing that what she did was wrong. She saw the no pack and the audio aspect of it didn't register. She honestly is upset that she did something wrong. I have forgiven her and hope that whomever she sent it to will as well. She fears the wall of shame and asked if I should just take a mug shot now and send it out. I think we will do that if it ever happens again. Sorry to whomever received it. Thanks for understanding. All staff of all MCLS member public libraries in both Indiana and Michigan is eligible to participate. Beginning on February 15, MCLS members will have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of public library funding strategies with this four-week, self-paced course which is part of U-M's Public Library Management series. Albion District Library Closed February 2-3 Due to Winter Storm Landon

Hello all! Albion is one of many, many communities in the firing line of Winter Storm Landon in the coming few days. The National Weather Service is forecasting a concerning amount of ice and snow (8-12" predicted) on Wednesday and Thursday. Upon the advice of county and local safety and road departments regarding travel and street parking, ADL will be closed both Wednesday and Thursday as the storm passes, for the safety of our staff and community.
