The Clinton-Macomb Public Library is looking to hire multiple new substitute librarians to work at any of our locations (Main Library: Adult Nonfiction, Children's Services, Popular Materials; North Branch Reference, South Branch Reference). This is also a great opportunity for students who are close to completion of their MSI degree and want an opportunity to gain field experience in a thriving public library. Are you a member of the Michigan library community that loves to create? If so, consider designing a logo to submit for the 2016 Loleta Fyan Small and Rural Libraries Conference Logo contest. The winning member of the Michigan library community will receive a complimentary registration to the conference and have their design included in the printed program. The 2016 Loleta Fyan Small and Rural Libraries Conference is scheduled for May 4-6, 2016 at Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island. The theme for the 2014 RLC is "Transforming Libraries, Transforming Lives." Barb has written Discovering Michigan County by County: Your A-Z Guide to Each of the 83 Counties in the Great Lakes State. She is an enthusiastic speaker with a wealth of knowledge about our state. Barb has been very well received at many libraries.
