Hello LibraryLand! :) Wondering if anyone has a library card type that is in anyway different from your regular card for patrons of your legal service area, or if you just mark them differently in your ILS? Any card limits or parameters that are different from your "norm" that would apply? Please let me know! Oktoberfest at the Library
by Anna Merritt 08 May '24

08 May '24

Hello All, Thinking about fall... Has anyone ever hosted an Oktoberfest-like program at their library? I am thinking about how to incorporate the beer aspect in a reasonable and appropriate manner. I am hoping to get a local brewery to bring samples so that the quantity of beer can be controlled. Also, other ideas of activities- games, trivia, German music, etc. This would be an afterhours, registration-based program for adults over 21. Any suggestions or feedback from those with experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
