Re: [Michlib-l] Looking for 1950's-era book - SOLVED
by Helena Hayes 17 May '24

Thank you, Erin Ross from Buchanan District Library... the mystery has been solved! I have a very happy patron (who happens to be my aunt, lol). This book was originally published in 1946 as "The Pedlar of Colored Threads," later reissued as "The Peddler of Colored Threads." Thank you to everyone who offered title suggestions and recommended sites to search. 🙂 Helena ________________________________ From: Erin Ross <e.ross(a)buchananlibrary.org> Sent: Thursday, May 16, 2024 2:27 PM To: Helena Hayes <helena.hayes(a)gcmdl.org> Subject: Re: [Michlib-l] Looking for 1950's-era book This has to be it! Lost Book?
by North Adams Library 16 May '24

16 May '24

Hello, Library Land! I received this book in a donation to our library and am trying to return it to the home library if it has not already been withdrawn from circulation. Sadly, there is no property stamp/sticker. Only the call number. The book does not have a barcode, only the old borrower's card/library checkout card in the back of the book. Title is "The Shadowed Path" by Barbara Corcoran. Pictures are attached for reference. Hope to send it home! Thank you, Mariele Busch Library Director North Adams Community Memorial Library 4695 Knowles Rd, North Adams 517-287-4426 northadamslibrarian(a)gmail.com
