by Lisa Rabey 08 Jan '25

08 Jan '25

Good evening! I received over 50 responses! Coupled with my survey in other places, I compiled a list of nearly 100 jobs and hobbies that are not librarianesque. I'll send out the presentation when it's finished! I had to drop the font size to 7 to get it all in. :) [image: librarianjobsandhobbies.png] Lisa Rabey | @heroineinabook <https://linktr.ee/heroineinabook>https://linktr.ee/heroineinabook

by Paul Konkolesky 08 Jan '25

08 Jan '25

Greetings! With our summer reading theme this year being Color Our World, I am thinking of having a program on tattooing. Has anyone in southeastern Michigan had a tattoo parlor present anything on this topic? And if so, would you recommend them? I appreciate any assistance you can provide. Hi All! I have come into possession of an entire set of 36 books by Jin Yong in Simplified Chinese. These Chinese Wuxia (Martial arts) novels are in great shape. If I break it up I have 10 individual series and 2 stand alone novels. Please include your rides or delivery code along with how many series you want (some are 2 volumes others are 4 to 5). As well as to whom I am sending the books to. Unless you want all 36 novels...then let me know!! I also have 3 Russian Adult nonfiction. First come first served! If you can please take just a few moments to complete the following survey, that would be greatly appreciated: https://forms.office.com/g/QQq84KgKut. We kindly ask for responses by January 31st. Your responses will provide vital information regarding the program's reach across the country. The Forest Service also welcomes any additional stories, pictures, or other information you would like to share about the challenge that you are not able to include in the survey response (just email those to rachel.bayer(a)usda.gov<mailto:rachel.bayer@usda.gov>).
