Just two weeks left to make your nominations for an Upper Peninsula History Award! We are currently accepting nominations for our Upper Peninsula History Awards. Every year, the Historical Society of Michigan presents two awards to those who actively preserve and promote the history of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. These awards include the Charles Follo Award for individuals and the Superior Award for historical organizations. The Superior Award, established in 2006, honors historical societies, museums, and other historical organizations for advancing the understanding and appreciation of history in their communities.
