Peter Bergin Ragtime Spectacular
by Mary Vergowven 20 Sep '18

20 Sep '18

The Bedford Township Branch Library of the Monroe County Library System hosted Peter Bergin and his Ragtime Spectacular program on Wednesday September 19th to a full house. What a show! Peter is a talented musician who has a great knowledge of the history of ragtime. Not only did he share his talent on the piano, but he shared that knowledge with a Powerpoint presentation in between songs. Peter encouraged the audience to ask questions and they weren't shy about doing just that. The audience also did a lot of toe-tapping and head bobbing as Peter's fingers flew across the keys. I highly recommend this program - Check him out at his website https://www.berginmusic.com/ Mary Vergowven Reference Librarian Bedford Branch Library Monroe County Library System 8575 Jackman Road Temperance, MI 48182 734-847-6747 mary.vergowven(a)monroe.lib.mi.us
