Thank you all so much for the great (and quick) responses regarding options for credit card transactions, I will definitely be looking into these! I was asked if I could share the responses for those of you who were also thinking about offering credit card transactions. Here are the options that I have received so far: PayPal Square Point&Pay Stripe Chase Paymentech g2gcloud.com Also, I had a tip that not all ILSes work with all vendors so it is important to find out what will work with your specific ILS in order to avoid any double entries or potential errors. Our Planet: Earth During April 2020, the STAR Library Network (STAR Net) is celebrating the important role that Earth plays in our lives with a special month-long campaign called, Our Planet: EARTH<http://www.starnetlibraries.org/our-planet-earth/>. This national campaign is an outgrowth of three converging events during April 2020: Citizen Science Month, the 50thAnniversary of Earth Day, and the recent adoption by the American Library Association (ALA) of "sustainability" as a new core value of librarianship. As described by ALA, to be truly sustainable, libraries and their communities need to embody practices that are environmentally sensible, economically viable, and socially equitable. Partners include ALA, SciStarter, Globe Observer, and many others. *Calling all Library Professionals! We are gauging your interest in a Tableau Boot Camp, sponsored by Case Western Reserve University’s Kelvin Smith Library.* Do you work in Tableau daily? Have you always wanted to use Tableau but were concerned about the learning curve and time commitment? Are you interested in improving your skills? No matter what level of knowledge or expertise a Tableau Boot Camp might be a place for you! Kelvin Smith Library (KSL) at Case Western Reserve University is gauging interest in a one-day, informal Tableau boot camp for library professionals in the summer, 2020. The hope is to bring together library professionals to network, learn from each other and share practical applications for Tableau. This day might include presentations, posters and hands-on, interactive workshops on how to analyze and visualize data in your library using Tableau. Some potential topics include connecting Sierra to Tableau, mapping space usage data, and assessing international impact.
