Family Literacy Story Time
by Jonesville District Library 13 Aug '21

13 Aug '21

If your library has an established Family Literacy Story Time, I would love to get some advice. We are a mid-size class II library looking for program ideas for our children who are leaving our morning Preschool Story Time and heading off to school. 1. What time of day do you offer Family Literacy Story Time? 2. How often do you offer it? Weekly? Bi-weekly? Monthly? 3. Do you set limits for age-ranges for children? Any information, suggestions, and advice will be appreciated. I will compile all answers and post for everyone. Thanks, -Laura Orlowski, director Jonesville District Library jonesville(a)monroe.lib.mi.us

Snacks/Food Handling at Programs Response
by Emily Blakowski 13 Aug '21

13 Aug '21

Hello Jessica, Since COVID, we've purchased food that is individually wrapped as part of our Grab and Go bags if we needed them for our programs. Right now, I plan on getting food from a local Mexican restaurant for an upcoming in-person event, and I plan to have them individually packaged as well as have separate utensils and napkins for the patrons. I hope this helps. Sincerely, Emily Blakowski [cid:90b16e32-6f8f-4ef5-8cd9-34a5c195a856]
