This position includes weekends and evenings. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, computer proficiency, and flexible schedule required. Public library experience and interest in working with upper elementary/pre-teens preferred. Hourly wage for this position is $16.00 per hour. Help with teen programming for the fall...

Hi all, For the fall, out of an abundance of caution, we will not be offering any in-person programming. For my teens, I am drawing a blank on what types of take-home projects or crafts they would be interested in. If anyone has ideas, or knows things the teens are very interested in right now and would enjoy making in the fall, I would greatly appreciate your help. I understand teens are busy in the fall when they go back to school, so wasn't sure what to offer that would entice them to participate. Hello colleagues, I manage the Seed Library at Royal Oak Public Library. I wanted to put some feelers out about the potential for coordinating a regional plant/seed swap next spring. The basic premise would be to: 1. Amass seedlings, seeds, and plants. 2. Find a Saturday or Sunday where folks can hop from library to library collecting and swapping.
