As a wilderness medicine expert and extraordinary speaker, Susan has worked on film sets for National Geographic Channel, truTV, appeared on the science documentary, The Hottest Place on Earth, aired on the BBC and Discovery. She's been featured or quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Smithsonian, on CNN, television, numerous magazines, and newspaper articles. When she learns about avalanches that bury people without warning, she challenges herself: ''What if I teach a dog to save lives?'' This quest propels her to train the best possible search dog, vowing to never leave anyone behind. Facility Maintenance Company?

Hi all,Van Buren District Library’s Webster Memorial location currently employs an individual to maintain the facility including lawn, snow removal, cleaning, repairs, etc. This individual will likely retire in a year or two and we’re considering our options. One option is to hire another individual to perform the same duties as the current individual. Another option is to contract these duties out to various companies. The problem with this idea is it would take a lot of time and knowledge (of which I have neither) to manage all the contractors involved. Does anyone use a single company to perform or manage all of the tasks necessary to maintain their facility? If you use such a company, I would be interested in learning about your experience with them. Free Shelving Unit

We have a shelving unit available. Unfortunately, we do not have any good pictures of it while it was fully assembled. It measures 8' wide by 5'3" tall. The unit is double sided. The picture only shows half of the unit, it can be assembled with half the unit or the full unit, but not two separate units. It also has two end caps not pictured. If you are interested, I can try to get some more pictures of it. You must pick it up yourself.
