One reason for that: a big majority also say teaching about the history of race in America makes students understand what others went through. Large majorities - more than eight in 10 - don't think books should be banned from schools for discussing race and criticizing U.S. history, for depicting slavery in the past or more broadly for political ideas they disagree with." Greeting from Oak Park! Are there any libraries out there that use an alternative to the AWE stations in their youth areas for technology (stationary computer loaded with age-appropriate games)? Thanks, Kimberly Schaaf Director, Oak Park Library 14200 Oak Park Blvd. Oak Park, MI 48237 Office: 248-691-7566 Work Cell: 248-914-3318
