Parenting magazines
by Bradley Scott 03 Mar '22

03 Mar '22

It seems that Parents Magazine, which we have in our browsing periodicals collection, is no longer going to be available in print. And, unfortunately, our most recent edition of Magazines for Libraries is missing the pages that deal with that subject area. Can anyone with an intact recent edition scan and send the pages dealing with parenting magazines? Thanks in advance for any assistance. Recommendations of other periodicals in this subject area would also be useful. -- Bradley A. Scott, MLS Electronic Resources Librarian Mott Community College 1401 East Court Street Flint, Michigan 48503 810-762-0405

Average Book Prices, 2022: TLN 20th Anniversary Edition!
by Jim Flury 03 Mar '22

03 Mar '22

Good Morning, The 20th anniversary, 2022 edition of TLN's annual "Average Book Prices" compilation is attached, in both pdf and spreadsheet formats. All 2022 ytd and 2021 final data is taken from a School Library Journal article dated March 2, 2022. The attached document is also available on the TLN website at this link: [ https://tln.lib.mi.us/dept/technical-services/acq/ | https://tln.lib.mi.us/dept/technical-services/acq/ ] It will be interesting to see what the presumed 2023 edition looks like when compared to 2022. I say that account inflation is running at its highest rate in 40 years. Will that translate into higher prices for books?
