Subject: Program Recommendation-Sea Shanty Singalong
by Director 21 Apr '25

21 Apr '25

I echo the Alpena County Library recommendation. The Darcy Library of Beulah hosted Ben Traverse and had a great experience. We were treated to some original and standard songs. He even belted out some shanties a-cappella. What talent, what a treat! https://bentraversemusic.com/ -- Christy Trigg Library Director Darcy Library of Beulah 7238 Commercial Ave Beulah, MI (231) 882 - 4037

Wall-mounted sign holders available (free)
by Megan Esseltine Hathaway 18 Apr '25

18 Apr '25

The Canton Public Library has 13 like-new wall-mounted sign holders available to anyone who can use them and will pick them up. [image: 20250418_142115.jpg] They have a navy blue metal frame with a removable glass pane, and have two strong adhesive strips on the back. [image: 20250418_142032.jpg] [image: 20250418_142105.jpg] Though they have never been used, they were purchased more than 20 years ago, so they are "like new." We still use these holders in some areas of the library, and I guess it speaks to their quality that we have so many backups we haven't needed.
