Hello! After the great discussion concerning AR and Lexile Levels recently on the listserv, a teacher in our school district has asked me for some help with two very specific authors and the Lexile Levels of their books: Lane Walker Johnathan Rand Would anyone have information concerning the Lexile Levels of these authors' titles? I have used all of the resources mentioned in the most recent discussion and am coming up with nothing. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help! Circulation Systems

We are currently using InfoCentre as our ILS and have learned that it is not compatible with the newer versions of Windows. We would be interested in recommendations for a new system to serve a class V library with 2 branches, approximately 100,000 items, and 15,000 patrons. Ideally it would also work with MeLCat. Unfortunately, cost is an issue, but we are interested in hearing what has worked (or not worked) at some of the smaller libraries. Looking for bindery that does custom work

Can anyone recommend a bindery that does custom and hand-work? I am familiar with Bessenberg Bindery in Dexter, but has anyone had experience with another one? It doesn't need to be located in Michigan. We have some items that need careful custom work for slipcases, clamshell boxes, special preparation and cropping of pages, etc. The binder we use for periodicals is not set up for this kind of custom work. object lending libraries

Greetings everyone, If your public library loans objects and any of those objects relate to food prep or processing, could you please contact me and let me know how you handle sanitation? I had a request to obtain a food dehydrator for the Library's lending collection. In calling around to some party planners and table service rental places, those entities have full kitchen dish rooms for sanitation. While public libraries lend a wide variety of tools, recreational equipment, etc., I haven't come across anything related to food prep equipment.
