Pop-up books
by Amelia Nolan 13 Sep '17

13 Sep '17

Hi all, interested to hear how other libraries handle some of the more elaborate pop-up books in their collection or some of the interactive non-fiction with pull-tabs and pop-ups, etc? We had some of them in a non-circulating reference area but I fear that they aren't even being seen. Do you just have them in your general collection? laminator
by Paul McCann 13 Sep '17

13 Sep '17

Hi everyone, Dexter District Library is looking for some advice on how to get a large scale laminator to work properly. We have an EZLam School Budget Roll Laminator, model BA-EZsb. We have never been able to get this to pull a clean sheet through. Every time we try a large poster, we get a wrinkle somewhere in the laminate. We have repeatedly adjusted the tension with no luck. If you have experience, have had good results with this model, and could give us any tips or tricks, please contact me off list. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, Paul -- Paul McCann Dexter District Library Library Director 3255 Alpine St. Phone: 734-426-4477 Dexter, MI 48130 Fax: 734-426-1217 www.dexter.lib.mi.us
