Hot Spot Circulation
by Karyn Ruley 27 Mar '18

27 Mar '18

Hi, everyone - I'm sure this has already been posted before, but since technology changes so quickly I figured it couldn't hurt to ask again if anyone has any updated recommendations or experience to share about circulating wifi hot spots. Someone from T-Mobile has contacted us and I'm not sure if this is a good provider for our location, for general customer service, or if another company might be better. I'd love any info on the various companies, cost to the library, filtering, patron use or abuse, etc. I'd really appreciate any help. Thanks in advance, Karyn Ruley Technology Associate Crawford County Library 201 Plum St. Grayling, MI 49738 Phone: 989-348-9214 Fax: 989-348-9294

Remote circulation services??
by Andrea Ingmire 27 Mar '18

27 Mar '18

Hi all, I'm looking for ideas to enhance our outreach services to remote townships. We have several township book drops for item return, and am looking to provide some kind of circulation component remotely as well. If your library provides holds pickup services, deposit collections or some other circulation service at remote locations I'd love to hear about it! Specifically looking for low staff input ideas that work well out of township halls with limited operating hours. Thanks!! ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ *Andrea IngmireLibrary DirectorPeter White Public Library* (906) 226-4303 (office) (906) 250-0080 (cell) (906) 226-1783 (fax) *http://pwpl.info/ <http://pwpl.info/>*
