CADL is using Libraries Rock to promote SRP and other services. We are also creating promotions to help strengthen our "Everything Right Here" brand promise. Here are some examples: Summer Reading - In addition to using the national PSA, we have created local spots through our media partnerships which have generated over $15,000 worth of free advertisements. While our SRP Reporters project allows local kids and teens to share the excitement of Summer Reading through on-air and online reports. This is a partnership with the communication department in one of our large markets, which is key in getting our upcoming millage passed. Finally, we secured tickets from School of Rock: The musical and Disney's Lion King to use for SRP and other contests. Single discs

Hello! Does anyone have a source to purchase single DVDs in a series (like The Waltons, Grey's Anatomy, etc.) We have multi-disc sets that have one disc that's wrecked, and we have to replace the whole series. Trying to identify a book

Hello. I was approached by a patron today who was looking for the first book in a fantasy series she read about ten years ago. It was a series written for adults. It was set in a medieval-like Europe. There is an Irish witch traveling with her granddaughter and a former soldier. They stop at a nobleman's lands where there are mysterious killings. Eventually they discover (spoiler) that the murderer is a werewolf. Can anyone help us out? It isn't ringing a bell and I've exhausted the usual resources. Thanks so much! The Houghton County Historical Society has suffered massive damages due to the recent flooding crisis in the Western Upper Peninsula <https://www.gofundme.com/gjj99r-houghton-museum-flood-relief> Donate to recover Houghton's history Earlier this week, heavy rains and storms produced severe weather conditions across the Upper Peninsula and Northern Wisconsin, devastating the area's landscape and infrastructure. The Houghton area was severely hit. Major road cave-ins, sinkholes, and hazardous building damage and collapsing areas have led Governor Snyder to declare a state of emergency for the area. The damage to the HCHS research facility grounds from Quarry Road. The Historical Society of Michigan is raising funds for the Houghton County Historical Society (HCHS) in Lake Linden and other local history organizations in the area that may have been affected to provide relief for the devastated portions of their historical collections and property. The HCHS is a volunteer-run organization and is in desperate need of help and donations to save their collections and research facilities. The damage to the HCHS's newspaper collections room.
