Dear Michlib-L Colleagues, Note: Please excuse the cross-posting You, your family, and friends are invited to attend a Seed Preservation presentation by Master Gardener, Diane Hayes, at the Pinckney Community Public Library (125 Putnam St., Pinckney, MI 48169) on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at 6:30pm. Seed Preservation.....Saving seeds opens up one of the most exciting aspects of gardening. Simple techniques allow you to successfully collect seeds from your garden, whether it is the plants that you have grown in your garden's environment or creating a hybrid. We will look at how to harvest, clean and store your seeds. We will touch on learning how to substitute natural random pollination with some creative ways to produce hybrids. Below are the responses to the Pokemon Club Suggestions: -Printables from the official Pokemon website and allow kids to bring cards to play the trading card game or show to other kids. -Organized activity, alternating between crafts and games each month. -Rank the best Pokemon. -Becoming a Pokemon Go stop. -Pokémon battle board games. -Showing Pokemon movies/shows (as long as it is under Movie License). -Purchasing battle academy boxes. Silent Auction Item Request for MLA Conference

So many of you have been involved in past years for bringing the Silent Auction gift baskets to the Michigan Library Association's conference. The committee has decided to do them again this year, so I am hoping you can again be so generous as to bring something to the Annual Conference in Lansing.
