Hi Library land, We have two items up for grabs at Lyon Township Public Library: One is a carousel for anything you want to use it for. It has 6 layers to it and it rotates. We had been using it in our friends’ book sales. We also have a single jewelry display case, made of plexi, that also rotates. It says “Swarovski” on it. We had used it in past events/drives. Must pickup from us! -- Katie Rothley, MLIS Marketing & Outreach Librarian Lyon Township Public Library 27005 S. Milford Rd. South Lyon, MI 48178

Tuition reimbursement policies
by Richard in Manistee 04 Aug '21

04 Aug '21

Greetings; The Manistee (Michigan) County Library Board and Director are considering starting a tuition reimbursement program for employees. If the rules permit, would you please send libtrusteeblue(a)gmail.com a web link or a copy of your policies regarding tuition reimbursement for employees to provide us with ideas as we establish ours? We have compiled a listing of policy factors from several out-of-state library staff education-expense reimbursement policies. If you’d like a copy of that list or the results from this query, let me know. Thank you for your attention and any guidance you may offer, Richard Blue, Trustee (231) 690-3739 Manistee County Library 95 Maple Street Manistee, MI 49660
