Just a reminder that prices increase on February 27, 2019 for the MACUL SIGLIB workshops. The Special Interest Group - Librarians (SIGLIB) of Michigan's educational technology association MACUL is sponsoring several workshops on March 20, 2019 at Cobo Center that may be of interest to some of you. Library staff and library science students are welcome to join us for our spring SNSR meeting at Grand Valley State University! Agenda: Special Needs Services Roundtable (SNSR) meeting 4/11/19 1 – 3 p.m. (Host: Mary Idema Pew Library, Grand Valley State University in Allendale, MI) Welcome & Introductions Professional enrichment: 1 – 2 pm Discussion with Annie Belanger, Dean, University Libraries (GVSU) Topics: “Accessible Customer Service” and “Planning with Accessibility in Mind” Annie has over 20 years of experience focusing on accessibility, inclusion, and the student experience in libraries. cultural competency training in libraries

Hi, Can anyone recommend a cultural competency (or cultural awareness or cultural sensitivity) training they've had at their library? Or perhaps a webinar or another form of training that staff at your library took? It's fine if it's not a library specific training.
