The Clinton-Macomb Public Library is looking to hire multiple new substitute librarians to work at any of our locations (Main Library: Adult Nonfiction, Children's Services, Popular Materials; North Branch Reference, South Branch Reference). This is also a great opportunity for students who are close to completion of their MSI degree and want an opportunity to gain field experience in a thriving public library. All, The 2015 editions of the Michigan Energy Code and the Michigan Residential Code were filed with the Michigan Secretary of State on Friday, October 9, 2015. Both will go into effect on February 8, 2016. We are now offering both code books for bulk purchase by libraries. TLN will order, ship via either TLN or RIDES delivery, and invoice with your shipment. Please note that TLN may assess a $1.00 per book charge in order to help offset our cost for providing this service. Are you a member of the Michigan library community that loves to create? If so, consider designing a logo to submit for the 2016 Loleta Fyan Small and Rural Libraries Conference Logo contest. The winning member of the Michigan library community will receive a complimentary registration to the conference and have their design included in the printed program. The 2016 Loleta Fyan Small and Rural Libraries Conference is scheduled for May 4-6, 2016 at Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island. The theme for the 2014 RLC is "Transforming Libraries, Transforming Lives."
