Greetings, everyone! We may soon be in the market for a new label printer. We've had Brother models here for a long time, but after a New-Year's-resolution-challenging customer service experience I am considering others. Recommendations will be very much appreciated! Library of Michigan 2023 LSTA Grant programs update
by Reish, Karren (MDE) 18 Jan '23

18 Jan '23

Good afternoon, LM is working on a revision of our grant programs and will be announcing the grants available for 2023 in February. The biggest change will be that the Public Library Services grant program, aka the summer grant program, will not be available. We will be opening the Improving Access to Information grant program with a broader eligibility, criteria, and priorities. For those who are unfamiliar with the program, it is for $5,000 to $25,000 for a year-long program (October to September). It allows a range of expenses and is a full 10-page application with a detailed budget. It is also competitive. Please bear with us as we transition our grant programs to better fit our resources while doing our best to assist Michigan's libraries. Feel free to reach out with any questions you may have.
