Fellow listers, Tahquamenon Area School Public Library is going through a move this summer given asbestos abatement and updates being done within our building. I would greatly appreciate your input regarding how to best organize and structure moving a complete library out of its area and back into its original area. I am also particularly interested in what services and programming your library may have had operating over your library's move and down times for packing and unpacking. Hello! We are hiring a part-time library clerk for 20 hours per week at $14.42 per hour. The City of Ishpeming is taking applications for a part-time Library Clerk position at the Carnegie Public Library. Customer service experience, advanced technology skills, and the ability to work independently are required. The position is approximately 20 hours per week which includes some Saturday hours. Starting salary is $14.42 per hour. Job duties will include ensuring the smooth circulation of library materials, providing excellent patron-facing services, and assisting with the schedule of library programming. As part of a reorganization and strategic planning process, Mason County District Library is seeking applications for the new position of Adult Services Assistant. Salary Range of $19.40-$22.40 per hour based on experience for this part time, non-exempt position scheduled for 24-30 hours weekly. The article indicates that Joann will continue to pay its vendors, that the bankruptcy process could be complete by as early as April, and that Joann will emerge as a non-publicly traded company. I reached out to our Creativebug contact and asked her for a statement. I will share her response with the lists when received.
