Yoto Players
by Anne Richards 12 Dec '24

12 Dec '24

My library is considering adding Yoto Players to our collection after recently introducing Tonie Boxes. Patrons have been enthusiastic about the Tonie Boxes and are now asking about Yoto Players. If your library circulates Yoto Players, I'd love to hear about your experiences. Setting up the Tonie Boxes was quite a process, and I'm curious if Yoto Players require similar effort or present unique challenges. Any insights, tips, or advice you can share would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Canva template for a week's worth of events at the library
by Katie Rothley 12 Dec '24

12 Dec '24

Hi all! Hope you're all staying warm. Here is a Canva template I use on a weekly basis <https://www.canva.com/design/DAGZGDsk4xg/vBxa1ewjw9w9IjHb0fiBiA/view?utm_co…> for keeping all staff on the same page (haha) for announcements, events, displays, and our makerspace info. I make copies and put them at the Circulation and Librarian desks. I hope it's helpful for anyone looking for a solution to knowing what's happening on a daily and weekly basis for staff. The other two pages are just signs for our meeting rooms. Feel welcome to make a copy and edit it to suit your needs! Let me know if you have any issues accessing it. -- Katie Rothley, MLIS Marketing & Public Relations Librarian Northville District Library 212 West Cady Street Northville, MI 48167 (248) 349-3020 <callto:(248)+349-3020> ext. 221 https://northvillelibrary.org
