A Five-Star Birdwatching Experience with Greg Bodker We were thrilled to host Greg Bodker for his captivating birdwatching presentation at Houghton Lake Public Library, and it’s safe to say it was a huge success! Every seat in the room was filled with enthusiastic patrons, from seasoned birdwatchers to curious newcomers. Greg’s deep knowledge and passion for birds shone throughout the evening. His presentation was engaging, educational, and entertaining, perfectly tailored for an adult audience but also wonderfully accessible to families. The stunning visuals, high-quality videos, and sound clips he shared brought the beauty and wonder of the natural world to life, leaving everyone in awe. Even before the program officially began, Greg’s engaging personality was evident. He took the time to chat with early arrivals about recent bird sightings and local observations, setting an inviting and inclusive tone for the evening. Patrons loved the thoughtful photo slideshow and bird songs that he played beforehand, which created a lively atmosphere and built excitement as everyone settled in. What truly set Greg apart was the extra effort he put into personalizing the program. He took the time to discuss birds and birding locations in our local community. Patrons were delighted with the custom printouts he provided, which highlighted birding hotspots in our area—an invaluable resource for those eager to start exploring right away! Audience members were especially impressed by Greg's approachable and warm demeanor. He skillfully fielded questions and stayed after the event to chat with attendees, creating a welcoming atmosphere that made everyone feel included. The feedback from our patrons has been overwhelmingly positive—many commented that they left inspired to get out and start birding themselves. If you’re considering hosting Greg, we couldn’t recommend him more highly. His ability to connect with a diverse audience and deliver a truly memorable and personalized program is second to none. Thank you, Greg Bodker, for a night of inspiration and discovery. We can’t wait to welcome you back in the future!
