Hello, It’s a fact of life that sometimes we need legal forms and information, whether consulting with an attorney or not. Local print resources might not be available or current or convenient, but don’t let that stop you from finding what you need. The Gale Legal Forms Library<http://subscriptions.uslegalforms.com/gale/index.php?s=categories> found in MeL’s Legal<http://mel.org/index.php?P=MeLGateways&ParentId=952> and Business<http://mel.org/index.php?P=MeLGateways&ParentId=832> Gateways and the alphabetic list of MeL databases<http://mel.org/Databases> contains copies of actual forms and documents that are continuously updated to reflect current state laws. Download and view completed samples. Explore popular searches (divorce, landlord tenant, name change), browse categories, and search the definitions and law digest sections. Michigan residents or Michigan library access only. Keep in mind that not all Michigan courts may accept the forms contained in this resource and you may need to check SCAO-Approved Court Forms, http://courts.mi.gov/administration/scao/forms/pages/default.aspx MeL Minutes are brought to you by the Library of Michigan. Michigan Author Visits
by HOW Reynolds Twp Library 28 Aug '14

28 Aug '14

Hello, If you are looking for some interesting Michigan authors to have a program at your library, here are two wonderful suggestions. Author Ron Rademacher has written four books about all of the interesting places that you can visit in Michigan. The program he did for us was called Michigan Rediscovered and he took us on a road trip across the state! Very interesting! Check out his work on www.michiganbackroads.com. His programs cost $125 and you can reach him at ron(a)michiganbackroads.com. Author John Kozak has written about him and his familys experience living in and escaping from communist Czechoslovakia when he was a child. Through the Eyes of Rose is a great read and a wonderful program! He charges a tank of gas to come do a program and you can reach him at jkozakinc(a)aol.com.
