U.S. Department of Transportation Unveils New, Free, Online Search Tool for Recalls Using Vehicle Identification Number

All, As you are probably aware, there have been a number of vehicle recalls in the United States this year. A new website launched yesterday by the USDOT/NHTSA gives your car-conscious Michigan library patrons the ability to enter a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) to quickly learn if a specific vehicle has NOT been repaired as part of a safety recall in the last 15 years. SLA-MI Ann Arbor Networking Event Let's get together in our third networking event this year in Ann Arbor! These events are an opportunity just to gather and see a familiar face or meet and get to know your peers from libraries of all sizes & types a little better. There will be no formal agenda set and you can also use this as an opportunity to invite friends or colleagues who are interested in Michigan libraries. Please RSVP.
