Canva share: Pride bookmarks
by Katie Rothley 04 Jun '25

04 Jun '25

Hi all, I know June has already arrived, but here are some bookmarks I made in Canva for Pride month if anyone is interested. My process is to edit a single bookmark with our information, save it as a PNG, then upload and copy and paste multiple bookmarks on a single page for printing. I recommend cardstock! These are template links, so you're able to edit with your own library info and logos. Feel welcome to update the books listed as well; the ones I have are for adult fiction. Single bookmark to edit <https://www.canva.com/design/DAGpaxoc1tY/JOLRccActKY6XBpG7kdwQw/view?utm_co…> Multiple bookmarks on one page <https://www.canva.com/design/DAFklhrZHsw/EeuatI2WE3c6NpTIXCDW_w/view?utm_co…> -- Katie Rothley, MLIS (pronounced: kay-tee rawth-lee) Marketing & Public Relations Librarian Northville District Library 212 West Cady Street Northville, MI 48167 (248) 349-3020 <callto:(248)+349-3020> ext. 221 https://northvillelibrary.org

I would love to bring this to my board with some positive feedback from other libraries. Thanks in advance! Abbie LaFountaine JC Wheeler Library PO Box 226 1576 S. Program Instructor Opportunity at Novi Public Library
by Shannon O'Leary 03 Jun '25

03 Jun '25

Hi Friends! I’m reaching out to share multiple paid opportunities at the Novi Public Library. We are currently seeking Program Instructors to lead upcoming Library programs. These postings (see attached) are for paid Program Instructors. The chosen individuals will be hosting Library programs and will not be considered a Novi Public Library employee. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in community programming, education, or a related field who is interested in engaging with the public and supporting the Library’s mission of lifelong learning. If you know of any individuals or organizations who may be a good fit, we would greatly appreciate your help in spreading the word. For more detail please see the attached listings. Thank you! Shannon O'Leary *My work day may differ from yours. More Shelving
by Mark Morton 03 Jun '25

03 Jun '25

Hello All, We are giving away more of our shelving that we no longer need in hopes that another library will be able to use it. This round is Montel periodical shelving. These are the ones with the flip up display shelf with room underneath for past issues. As before if you think you can use them but don't have Montel shelving we can send a sample shelf end to see if it will work for your setup. We have 6 of them and they will have to be picked up.
