We are pleased to announce that Sandra Teft has the joined the Library of Michigan as the Michigan eLibrary Coordinator. Sandra holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Science and a Master of Science in Library and Information Science. Her professional experience includes leadership and management roles in medical, academic, and state agency libraries. Sandra has led efforts to develop, maintain, and expand e-resource collections including researching and selecting resources and services; establishing and managing vendor relationships; developing and maintaining budgets; and negotiating and overseeing contracts. What resources have you been providing to your community members who feel threatened by ICE? Do you provide handouts, have a list of go-to resources (especially local ones in Michigan), or print red cards? Hello! Sharing from Library Journal Vendor News Roundup<https://www.libraryjournal.com/story/news/vendor-news-roundup-december-2025…>: Microsoft has created a new program offering Windows licenses and its standard Office software suite for free to all public access computers in public libraries, following “sustained advocacy by ULC [the Urban Libraries Council], the Public Library Association, and major urban systems,” according to a ULC announcement. All libraries qualify, although the program applies only to public-access devices and does not include computers used primarily by library staff. Libraries can apply for the program here<https://nonprofits.tsi.microsoft.com/EN-US/contact-us-libraries>. The Library of Michigan cannot endorse specific vendors or brands. Libraries should contact vendors and other experts for advice and to ensure that their choice reflects the unique needs of that library.
