As you may know, we've formalized our Michigan Financial Wellness Network for year-round collaboration and meet via zoom each month. Transforming Teen Services - YALSA Need ideas for teen programming? Come explore Youth Voice & Choice at this workshop via a framework for teen services called Connected Learning (CL) that uses the building blocks of teen interests, relationships with peers and caring adults and opportunities (from college and career to leadership and civic engagement). This workshop will also cover the basics of Computational Thinking (CT), which is a problem-solving framework, not coding or computer science -- and no technology is required! This is a great way for library staff who are less comfortable with tech to build STEM programs. This workshop is participatory & hands-on, and will help participants scaffold knowledge they may already have about CL and CT and use it to recognize the ways in which CT supports CL. CIRCULATION ASSISTANT POSITION SUMMARY Under the direct supervision of the Circulation Services Supervisor, the Circulation Assistant provides direct and indirect services to library patrons. The nature of the work requires evening and weekend hours. This is a regular part-time position and is non-exempt from overtime under FLSA guidelines.
