Virtual Live Story Time Versus Pre-Recorded

Hi all, My library will be moving to virtual story time in a few weeks and I am trying to decide which route would be better to take, having the story time pre-recorded for easy viewing or holding a live story time virtually. Could any of you share your experiences with me, so I can decide what will or maybe will not work? On September 13th, MADL had the pleasure of hosting Greg Bodker of Backyard Birds and Beyond<https://backyardbirdsandbeyond.com/> on Zoom with his new program, Let's Go Birding! This was Greg's second time presenting for MADL. Greg always has great rapport with the audience and is incredibly knowledgeable about his subject, and his award-winning photography is an amazing enhancement to his presentations. Access the 2022 Summer Programming Manual + update from CSLP Annual Meeting

Attn: Summer Library Programmers Access Code for 2022 The Library of Michigan has purchased Michigan's public libraries online access to the 2022 Collaborative Summer Library Program's "Oceans of Possibilities" Manual. This manual contains all the programming resources, graphics, and book lists for the upcoming summer. I'm happy to share that CSLP has also updated their website and the manual is easier than ever to navigate. To open & download the manual, you will need the access code - the access code for 2022 has been sent to all public library directors in Michigan via LM's LibPass portal just this morning, having come to their inbox from "Mi(a)countingopinions.com<mailto:Mi@countingopinions.com>." If your director does not forward the access code to you in the next day or so, please reach out to them directly for the code. To open & download the manual from the CSLP website (www.cslpreads.org<https://gcc02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.cslpre…>) hover over the "Manual Downloads" tab, located on the menu bar. From the drop-down menu, select 2022 Oceans of Possibilities. You will be prompted to enter your access code.
