The listings of personal property tax (PPT) reimbursements are available on Treasury's PPT Reimbursement website: www.michigan.gov/pptreimbursement<https://gcc01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.michig…>. Please see the section Other Municipalities 2018 PPT Distribution by Payee (updated May 2019) There is a complete listing of payments made to libraries. Please search the list in alphabetical order by county. PPT reimbursements are calculated and issued to municipalities based on the millage rates that are reported to the Michigan Department of Treasury on Tax Rate Request L-4029 (Form 614). The Form 614 states that the form must be completed for each unit of government for which property tax is levied. Therefore, if a library millage is reported on the Form 614 for a city, the library millage would be included in the city's PPT reimbursement calculation. Please direct libraries to contact Treasury directly if they have any questions regarding the calculation of the PPT reimbursements. Joining the Michigan Digital Preservation Initiative – July Open Planning Call Announced

The Statewide & Regional Stepping Stones to the National Digital Platform<https://www.gvsu.edu/library/stepping-stones-68.htm> project will be launching the first in a series of monthly virtual planning calls for our entire state community of libraries, archives, museums, galleries, historical societies, and other similar collecting institutions. Running through the remainder of 2019, these virtual monthly calls will be an opportunity for all such institutions to catch up with the work of this incredible new collaborative initiative, and begin directly contributing to laying the foundation for the new open community and digital preservation network to-come.
