Economist paper copy search
by Sonya Evans 30 Mar '23

30 Mar '23

Hi everyone! I have a patron looking for a paper copy of the Economist magazine back from December of 2022. The issue she is looking for is the one with the Best Books of 2022 article in it. She is an elderly patron who purchases this magazine for our library, but we missed a couple of months last year due to an error in purchasing. If you happen to have a copy of the issue with the article on the Best Books of 2022 could you please send it to us? Our patron would greatly appreciate it! Please send it through RIDES 101-Z8007 L'Anse School-Public Library 201 N. 4th Street L'Anse, MI 49946 Thank you for your help! Sonya Evans L'Anse Area Schools/Public Library Director

Live Stream Broadway and Off Broadway Theater to Michigan Libraries
by Katie McKenna 29 Mar '23

29 Mar '23

Hi! I am with the nonprofit League of Live Stream Theater (lolst.org) Our mission is to bring live theater content to communities that would not have access otherwise - and we would like to do this via partnerships with individual libraries wherever possible. Building on their interests in growing and bringing together a community. We just live streamed the Broadway Show Between Riverside and Crazy and we are now growing our slate of LIVE content. This will include select Broadway shows (live from the stage), off-broadway and regional theater productions, and special events. Each facility will be required to pay a small fee/purchase a ticket (likely $30-$100). And there will be some public streaming restrictions: - Libraries will not be permitted to charge guests, although can suggest a donation - The stream must be within the walls of the library - Libraries can only promote to members within the library and within their own email communications. Does this sound interesting to you? If so, we would love to stay in touch and ask libraries to add their name to our email list. https://forms.gle/wAhjZjfkWwdvAgk78 Thank you, Katie McKenna LOLST,org <https://streaklinks.com/Bcr-3WO3t9tYcjdMkwEw8wa1/http%3A%2F%2Flolst.org> -- KM Consulting katie(a)KMbrandconsulting.com 917.445.8699 ᐧ
