Greetings-- We have an excellent opportunity for a Youth Services librarian seeking full-time employment (in a delightful department at Bloomfield Township Public Library): POSITION TITLE: Librarian DEPARTMENT: Youth Services, reporting to Department Head HOURS: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, including evenings and weekends on a flexible basis. WAGES & BENEFITS: $26.95 per hour, increasing to $27.33 per hour upon successfully completing a 90-day orientation period. Paid time-off benefits include vacation, sick, holiday, personal business, and emergency time. Health insurance, dental/optical insurance, term life and disability income insurance provided. Good morning, I have been attending the Public Libraries Financial Management Class and recently finished the Internal Controls portion of the class. One fraud prevention control they mentioned was having in place an Ethics Policy or Ethics statement for employees. We do not currently have one at ODL so I was curious what this looks like for libraries. If you currently have an Ethics Policy or Ethics statement in your employee handbook or financial procedures can you please send me a copy or link?
