Please join us at the Library of Michigan on October 11th for the Michigan Nautical Conference. Keynote speaker Geoffrey D. Reynolds will talk about the iconic Michigan boat company Chris Craft. Mr Reynolds has been the Director of the Joint Archives of Holland at Hope College since July 2001. Previous to that he served as the collections archivist from January 1997 to July 2001. He graduated from Wayne State University with a Masters in Library and Information Science (MLIS) and an Archival Administration Certificate in 1995. He has worked at various times for Infoflo as a records management specialist, Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village, General Motors Media Archives and Little Caesar's Enterprises on its Detroit Tiger baseball club archival materials. He currently serves as the chair of the Holland Historical Trust board of trustees, treasurer of the Dutch-American Historical Commission, membership chairperson for the Association for the Advancement of Dutch American Studies, and Executive Director of the Holland Area Historical Society. His research and writing interests include the pleasure boat building industry of Holland and vintage race boat history. New Auto-Graphics Verso, version 4

Are any other users of Verso having trouble using the AgCat client with the new platform? I seem to have a communication problem with the Auto-Graphics server and am unable to upload to their database when creating records. The "barrel" never activates and the File>Upload to Database is grayed out. Does anyone have a solution? I've talked to the HelpDesk and they recommended using with Chrome instead of IE but it's the same problem. Thank you! Sharla Vincent, Director Tekonsha Township Library 230 S. The Crown Point Community Library <http://crownpointlibrary.org/> Board of Trustees seeks a talented and energetic Director to lead the Library and its constituents to meet the needs of this growing community. The Library Director will provide quality leadership, direct and support staff, and bring new ideas and exciting innovation to the Library. Crown Point Community Library, located in Lake County, Indiana, serves the 42,000 residents of Center and Winfield Townships. Governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees, the two library locations-downtown Crown Point Library and the Winfield Library-provide excellent services and programs with 39 staff and a $1.6 million annual budget. The Library, originally established as a Carnegie library, realized in 2005 that is was rapidly outgrowing and outpacing its facility. In 2010, the Library passed a successful $12 million bond issue and the "new" Crown Point Library opened in 2012. The successful candidate will be able to balance traditional service while implementing new, bold, thoughtful programs and services.
