What is BIBFRAME?

The idea of "linked data" has been floating around a lot lately. What exactly is it? What about BIBFRAME? Most importantly, how can my library implement it? For answers to these questions, and much more, check out the six session webinar series, "From MARC to BIBFRAME: Linked Data on the Ground". Vacation Bank?

Hello, all! Are there any district libraries out there using a vacation bank? By that, I mean a bank of unused vacation hours that staffers can donate to, that can be used by other employees in specific or crisis circumstances (temporary disability, grief leave, FMLA, etc.) If you do have a vacation bank, would you be willing to share your policies and procedures on it's use and how you administer it? I want to be sure that readers don't confuse the legislation in the story today with the longstanding legislation SB 579 and SB 619-624.
