Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion within ALSC Task Force: Call for Volunteers The ALSC Board has voted to establish a new task force to enact and continue the development of the work now completed by the Diversity in ALSC task force. This new Task Force of 9 ALSC members will serve virtually, with no conference attendance requirement, except for the chair (or co-chairs) who are required to attend Midwinter and Annual conference. The task force will serve immediately (target: September 1, 2017) until January 2020. Health insurance for retirees

We do not provide health insurance for retirees; it usually ends as of their last day of employment. However, we have someone planning on retiring next year, and she has asked that her health coverage be continued until the end of the month in which she retires. Before asking the library board for an exception to the policy, we would like to know what other libraries do. Please respond off list; I'll be happy to compile the responses if there is an interest.
