Reading material for dementia patients

I have a patron who is asking for help in identifying reading material that is appropriate to a person with dementia, the elderly of course. Some of the criteria might be: simple language not too long subject matter like animals, mysteries which are not gory, love stories Am looking for help from my peers about how, where to search for recommendations along these lines. The session will utilize examples to show the power of teamwork and good planning and will showcase successes and address challenges that come up in the planning process. This newly designed position will manage all of our electronic resources, from ebooks to databases. The position will also work on collaborative projects both in the library and with other departments on campus to provide superior services for our students, faculty and staff. If you have good attention to details, enjoy learning about new resources and methods of delivery, and like sharing what you know with others, consider applying for this position. >From the position description: "The Electronic Resources Librarian provides expertise and direction relating to the acquisition, management, and discovery of electronic resources. This position is responsible for keeping abreast of emerging trends in content delivery and pricing models. This position works closely with other librarians on collection development for electronic books and serials to ensure a collection that meets the needs of the curriculum at the college. This position works closely with the Acquisitions Librarian to provide timely payment for all electronic books and serials. The Electronic Resources Librarian provides recommendations to the Library Director in the acquisition of new database subscriptions and assists in price negotiations with vendors. This position maintains statistics on the use of electronic resources and provides acquisitions reports on a regularly scheduled basis. Additionally, the Electronic Resource Librarian may be asked to serve on internal library committees or work groups, college committees, and statewide work groups and committees."
