Greetings Michigan Library Community, Completing projects around the house can be so much easier when you use the right tools. The same goes for research! This week's MeL Minute will identify a few (sometimes hidden) tools in MeL that will make research a cinch for library staff, patrons, and students. Sad news

Hi everyone, I was asked share the sad news. Peggy Olsen, former director of the Millington Arbela District Library, passed away from stage 4 cancer yesterday. Her daughter, librarian Erica Firment, and her husband Bob Olsen were there with her. There will be a memorial service, but the time, place and date have not been announced yet. In her time at the MADL, Peggy made some wonderful changes, from bringing in computers, to the creation of the district library, to buying the property next door. She was able to retire in 2016.
