Hi, Looking for recommendations/advice from libraries that have chromebooks in the library for in-house use. Which vendor did you work with? Did you consider working with PCM-G? What policies did you establish for the laptops? Do you check out to juveniles? How were the laptops setup? Are they managed by in-house staff or through a service contract? The Buchanan District Library is currently seeking applicants for the position of Library Director. Buchanan is a community of about 4500 people in the southwest corner of Michigan. It sits within a 20 mile radius of the Lake Michigan Shoreline and the University of Notre Dame, and is roughly 90 miles from Chicago. The Library serves a district with about 9,000 patrons, and is currently undergoing a renovation project with is scheduled to be completed in the Spring of 2019. MLSA Status

FYI... This has been a frustrating week with MLSA. The legislation has stalled in the House. Details are covered in this ALA Washington Office blog post: https://americanlibrariesmagazine.org/blogs/the-scoop/mlsa-museum-library-s…<https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Famericanli…>. COSLA members from key states (Wisconsin, California) as well as those from states with House co-sponsors (Oklahoma, Texas) have been active all week along with ALA Washington Office staff and others to reach Speaker Ryan and Rep.
