Reference Desk Statistics

Greetings Michigan Libraries, We are currently using old-fashioned pen and paper to track statistics for reference desk interactions. I've seen digital products used for this purpose in the past, but searching now, every reference I'm coming up with is from 10-12 years ago. If you have a program or platform to track your statistics digitally, what are you using? Rural Libraries - Share a BookPage Subscription

Hello everyone, Richland Community Library is considering renewing our annual BookPage subscription (50 copies/month), and we wanted to reach out to see if any rural libraries AND RIDES participants might be interested in sharing the cost. In the past, we've noticed that we end up with 10-20 unused issues each month. Rather than letting them go to waste, we thought this could be a great opportunity for smaller libraries to receive BookPage copies at a reduced cost while helping us make the most of the subscription. Details: * Annual subscription cost: $420 for 50 monthly copies * RCL is happy to cover the upfront cost * Participating library can reimburse us for their portion by check * We can easily send your monthly copies through RIDES * If we have two other interested libraries, we could opt for the 100 copies/year subscription for $756 and split the cost three ways. This would provide even more copies for each library at an even lower per-copy cost. If your library would like to split the subscription-or if you have any questions-please feel free to reach out. The Pinckney Library (125 Putnam St., Pinckney, MI, 48169) cordially invites you, your family, and friends to attend an upcoming program on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at 6:30pm-7:30pm entitled: "Sound Bath Meditation" with instructor, Karen Kline. Tibetan Bowls and Gongs have been used for thousands of years to assist people into deep meditative states that can be difficult to reach on their own. This will reduce your stress levels and help you to get back to that place of stillness and calm. All you have to do is just lay there and let the magic of the bowls and gongs guide you. Please bring what you need to be comfortable (a thick mat, bean bag, reclining chair, blanket, pillow, eye covering are a few suggestions) There is a limit of 30 participants and registration is required.
