Vox/Wonderbook Storage

Hello all, I am wondering how everyone stores their Vox and/or Wonderbooks? Has anyone found a great solution for them? We have been ordering more lately and since they are larger in the back they do not sit nicely on the shelves. I have tried adding extra book ends in between smaller sections but still find them sliding out or falling over when patrons browse. My best thought so far is to get a bunch of open front magazine holders to at least add more stability to them, but would love to hear your thoughts! Thank you in advance for your help! Upcoming event in Marquette

Good afternoon, I wanted to alert this list to an upcoming event happening in Marquette next Thursday. Michigan Humanities will be hosting a program featuring Nandi Comer, Michigan’s Poet Laureate, in conversation with Dr. Beverly Matherne, the Upper Peninsula’s Poet Laureate, about how poetry creates understanding and empathy between one another. This conversation will be moderated by Dr. Shawnrece Butler, née Campbell, the Assistant Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion at Northern Michigan University. This event takes place September 12, 2024, at the Northern Center at Northern Michigan University. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., the event begins at 7 p.m., with an afterglow reception and book signing to follow. Books will be sold by Snowbound Books. If you're from a library in the Marquette area, we would appreciate spreading the word if you know of any patrons who might be interested. At CPL, Librarians collaborate with staff across the library to: * Create enriching and meaningful experiences for library visitors of all ages. * Curate collections that support the informational, educational and recreational information needs of the community. * Connect patrons to the information needed to pursue their best life using research expertise and problem-solving skills.
