Happy Poetry Month! We have several extra copies of *Shelter* by poet Margaret Hasse and artist Sharon DeMark <https://www.margarethasse.com/shelter.html>. I will send one to the first 24 libraries that say they are interested. While quarantined during covid, Hasse collaborated with her neighbor and colleague DeMark to create this book. One of them would send over a piece of work that would inspire the other's art. This collaboration explores the different meanings and types of shelter. Register for MCLS's Virtual Dialogue on Big-Picture Thinking

Join the Midwest Collaborative for Library Services as we gather over Zoom with librarians and library workers from all over Indiana and Michigan for another free Virtual Dialogue on Thursday, May 11, at 10:30am-noon Eastern (9:30-11am Central). We will share and learn from each other as we discuss big-picture thinking and its role in cultivating a growth mindset. MCLS's Virtual Dialogues aren't a webinar or a workshop; instead, these dialogues are opportunities for librarians and library workers of all levels and at all types of libraries to talk about issues that are important to them. We will spend time sharing our thoughts, ideas, and insights with other participants as we connect and engage around topics that impact libraries. Future dates for dialogues, all around a different component of cultivating a growth mindset in libraries, are July 11, September 14, and November 8.
