I used a couple of donations that the friends didn't want - they were normal sized Adult books. I made this a few years ago so I don't remember 100%, just followed the tutorial. I would suggest a thinner rather than fatter book for the body as it will be less folding, then I used a second book for the pages to roll. I used a glue gun for the "feathers" and to attach them to the book. Hope this helps, it was fun and it was our most highly liked Instagram post that year if I remember correctly. Hi all my fellow librarians, So we are in the process of planning our fall newsletter, and in need of some ideas. Take home crafts are still in the works, but I was hoping for some ideas that were not craft related. Was thinking about handing out some new solitaire card instructions, maybe an elf on the shelf for adults where they could post pictures on our facebook. A virtual book club did not work well here. The Kalamazoo College Library has two open, part-time library positions.
