Hi Everyone, The Novi Public Library is looking into a diversity audit of our materials. We are hoping to gather some information from those of you who have already gone through the process. If you have done a diversity audit could you please reply to me directly with the following information; 1. Did you do this yourself or did you hire a vendor? 2. Did you establish your own parameters or did you rely on parameters set forth by the vendor? 3. What were the specific parameters used? 4. If you hired a vendor, and used an RFP would you be willing to share that information? 5. Hello All: Please note that my earlier e-mail (see below) indicated that the 10 person limit included people from the same households. This is incorrect, as it SHOULD read "people NOT from the same households." Here is a corrected version of the information: EO 2020-176 has been amended by EO 2020-181 to again include Regions 6 & 8 (The UP and the upper Mitten) within the restriction of 10 and under attendance for Social Gatherings and Organized Events: "1. To Sum: ALL LIBRARIES IN MI: Restrict circumstances where groups of more than 10 people from different households can congregate for a shared activity (programs, meetings, etc.) REGIONS 6 & 8 No other occupancy limits other than enforcement of social distancing of 6ft REGIONS 1-5 & 7 Occupancy limits of (per EO 2020-175, section 6): 25% - for buildings with less than 50,000 sq ft of public space OR 4 people per 1000K sq ft - for buildings with more than 50,000 sq ft of public space.
