CD Disc organizers

Hello all!A couple of years ago, I asked about anyone with CD disc organizers, as no company seemed to manufacture them anymore. They look like this: and are either from BesTrade USA CD Library II; Zio Tek; or CAFTEK Digital Disc Organizer. We were able, at that time, to procure about a dozen or so from a library that wasn't using them anymore. We used them all, and are looking for more. I did see one or two on eBay, but we could use more than that, and would pay around $25 each (that's what we paid for the last 'batch'). They hold 150 discs. A Library Assistant may be required to be in charge of a branch location by themselves or be a substitute for Branch Librarians and provide immediate supervision of Page staff as requested. Duties and Responsibilities * Performs circulation desk procedures, such as checking in and checking out materials, registering patron card applications and collecting fines. * Responsible of sorting, packing, unpacking and inspecting library materials received from or being delivered to other libraries. * Ability to run a daily report of items on hold for patrons and inter-library loan requests. * Providing accurate reference information to patrons in person or by telephone. * Assist patrons with library equipment and machines (e.g., copier, on-line catalog, scanning, faxing, public computers, etc.) also perform routine maintenance and correct minor malfunctions of library equipment, such as refilling paper, toner, and assisting with paper jams. * Responsible of reporting monies received through circulation functions and providing the correct paperwork to the Business Office. Qualifications * Bachelors of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree for an accredited institution. * General computer proficiency, including knowledge of library software and Microsoft Office products. * Ability to work with little supervision and adhere to established policies and procedures of Genesee District Library. * Interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patrons and staff in a highly effective and courteous manner. * Ability to travel to all branch locations within Genesee County. * Ability to work various hours throughout the week including Saturdays (mornings, afternoons and evenings). Rebecca: Are you looking for any highly experienced librarians for part time slots in the near future? I left/retired from driving 500 miles per week to Ann Arbor. I am seeking public library work to round out my experience and reopen discussion with the leadership of the UofM Library School.
