Plymouth District Library – Job Posting http://plymouthlibrary.org TITLE: Library Clerk - Part-time (20 - 24 hrs/wk) Schedule includes day, evening and weekend hours. SALARY: $13.72/ per hour Pro-rated vacation and sick time. REPORTS TO: Circulation/Clerk Supervisor DESCRIPTION: This position performs direct service to patrons at the circulation desk and technical services tasks such as ordering, cataloging, and processing of library materials. DUTIES: - Assist at front circulation desk providing patron services. This includes charge, discharge, renewal of library materials and receiving fines and fees. - Perform indirect public services such as purchasing/receiving library materials, copy cataloging, linking, interlibrary loan, keeping statistics and preparing reports. REQUIREMENTS: - High School diploma or equivalent. - Computer experience, keyboard proficiency. Knowledge of word processing software programs. - Attention to detail. - Cataloging and acquisition experience preferred. - SirsiDynix/Workflows experience preferred.
