If you want to understand or know MORE about the Detroit 1967 Rebellion, then join us at the *Salem-South Lyon District Library* Wednesday, October 11, 7pm for: *Detroit in Crisis: The History of the 1967 Rebellion* *Wednesday, 10/11/2017 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM* *This year marks the 50th anniversary of the 1967 Detroit Rebellion, a five-day uprising that began with the raid of the United Community League for Civic Action on 12th near Clairmount. This program will examine the root causes of what is still considered to be one of the most significant episodes of civil unrest in US history. Presenting will be Jamon Jordan of The Black Scroll Network History & Tours.* Jamon Jordan is an educator and historian. He conducts lecture tours dealing with ancient African history, African cultures and traditions, as well as African American history, including the period of slavery, Black nationalism, the Civil Rights Movement, the Black Power movement, and other topics dealing with the history of Africans in America and throughout the world. He has conducted lectures in Detroit, throughout the state of Michigan, Chicago, Cincinnati & Cleveland, Ohio, Ontario-Canada, Kentucky, New York City, Washington DC, Atlanta, the state of Alabama, and numerous other historic sites. Hello Everyone, I was recently looking at our General Information Binder and realized that our information on Exam Proctoring is outdated by at least 3-4 years. I was wondering if everyone could let me know if your library still offers exam proctoring or not by answering the following questions: Do you offer exam proctoring? If so is it free?
