The P3 initiative will enable up to 10 pilots to blend funds that they already receive from different programs administered by the Departments of Education, Labor, and Health and Human Services, the Corporation for National and Community Service, and IMLS. In response to participant questions from the first P3 webinar<https://www.workforce3one.org/view/5001427539847497608/info> held on December 1, the Department of Labor is holding a follow-up webinar on the role of evaluation in P3, which will address questions such as: * What are the requirements for all pilots related to evaluation? * What evaluation activities are optional but will make my proposal more competitive? * What's the difference between the national P3 evaluation and a site-specific P3 evaluation? * What resources are available to help with the evaluation components of the application? Head Librarian-Worcester (MA) Public Library Your open door to opportunity-the Worcester Public Library <http://www.worcpublib.org/> Board of Directors seeks an experienced visionary who can provide strong leadership throughout the Library and the Community. The successful candidate will build strong partnerships in the Community and lead the staff and Board of Directors toward a well-defined vision for the Library. The Library, with a $5 million annual budget and a dedicated staff (103 FTEs), provides services and programs through the Main Library, which houses the Talking Book Library, two community branches and two mobile Libraries. Additionally, the Library is a partner in an innovative initiative known as One City One Library <http://www.onecityonelibrary.com/> , in which the city, the Library, the Community and the school system in Worcester have collaborated to create additional library spaces within three public school buildings. These locations serve the schools during the day and are open to the public after school and on Saturdays. There are plans to add more locations in additional school buildings in the near future. Hi Everyone, The Grosse Pointe Library Foundation and Friends of the Grosse Pointe Library are excited to host Peter Pearson, President of the Friends of the St. Paul Library, for a half-day workshop on "Demonstrating the Relevance of Libraries in the Community." We hosted him in 2012 for a workshop on fundraising and it was excellent. The workshop will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 from 10am-12pm. It will be held at our Grosse Pointe Woods branch, 20680 Mack Avenue which is very close to I-94. Cost is $25 and breakfast will be provided. This is a save the date email.
