Looking for recommendations
by Tina Russette 15 Jul '19

15 Jul '19

Hello Library World, We recently had Genot Picor here at the Holly Twp Library for a children's program and he was very well received. I know that our Children's librarian was very pleased with his performance. My question is: has any libraries had Genot perform for adults? I'm thinking of having him out here later in the year to do a musical performance for older adults. Genot is suggesting a program that will feature vocalist Carrie Grignano on violin and vocalist Genot Picor on guitar; the event would be "A Sentimental Journey into Music from Yesteryear." If you can provide any information or recommendations, that would be great. Thanks in advance, Tina -- Tina Marie Russette Adult Services Manager Holly Township Library 1116 N. Two questions...
by Gail Nartker 15 Jul '19

15 Jul '19

Hello all - Would anyone share how they are accepting credit / debit cards at their libraries? We have looked at Square but it seems that you have to add an individual's SS# along with the business tax ID#. Any comments would be appreciated. Also, are any libraries using software that allows them to upload photo albums for patrons to look at? We have experience with uploading albums on Facebook but we have created a new website on Squarespace and I am not satisfied with the photo display included. Again, any comments would be appreciated.
